นายชาญชัย ตระการอุดมสุข ประธานบริหาร บริษัท มาสด้า เซลส์ จำกัด กล่าวว่า ตลาดรถกระบะนั้นครองอันดับ 1 ครองยอดส่วนแบ่งตลาดสูงสุดมาโดยตลอด เนื่องจากประเทศไทยส่วนใหญ่ยังเป็นประเทศเกษตรกรรม รถกระบะจึงเป็นยานพาหนะที่เหมาะสมในการใช้งานรอบด้าน ซึ่งปัจจุบันรถปิกอัพโดยส่วนใหญ่ในตลาดนั้นจะเน้นคุณสมบัติของการบรรทุกเป็นหลัก ดังนั้น มาสด้าจึงฉีกแนวรูปลักษณ์ของรถกระบะแบบเดิมๆ ด้วยการเพิ่มในส่วนของการออกแบบที่สวยงามยิ่งขึ้น รวมทั้งได้ผลลัพธ์ของการใช้งานที่หลากหลายเช่นเดียวกับรถอเนกประสงค์ และสัมผัสได้ในสไตล์รถยนต์นั่งมากยิ่งขึ้น ซึ่งการปรับดีไซน์ใหม่ในครั้งนี้ มาสด้าได้เพิ่มสติ๊กเกอร์ลายกราฟฟิกด้านข้าง พร้อมดีไซน์กันชนหน้าใหม่ เพิ่มกระจังหน้าแบบโครเมียมดีไซน์ใหม่ ให้มุมมองความสปอร์ตและเพิ่มความหรูหรามากยิ่งขึ้น

Mazda jumps back into the pickup truck battle with the 2018 Collection BT-50 PRO THUNDER targeted at the upper market
